Harker's Island False Albacore Blitz Week

Harker's Island, NC has become famous for, and a Mecca to, fly rodders from all over the country during the annual fall albie blitz. This incredible time of year starts mid-October and runs through November, but the 1st week of November has become the time when the "Legends" of fly-rodding (and plain ol' fly fishermen, too) gather for "Dream Fishing", comaraderie, and a pig-roast & party at the end of the week hosted by Tom Earnhardt, noted author, fishing show host and fly fisherman.
